How to Prepare a GrowthPages Brief
How to Prepare a GrowthPages Brief
A clear brief helps the GrowthPages team produce content that fits your goal the first time. Use the checklists below when you fill in your order details.
The essentials (all services)
- Target page / website URL — the page the content should support or link to.
- Niche / topic — what the content is about.
- Audience — who it's for (e.g., beginners, local customers, buyers comparing options).
- Tone — formal, friendly, technical, etc.
- Must-include points — key facts, features, or messages.
- Avoid list — anything that must not be mentioned.
- Links to include — internal or external URLs you want referenced (where applicable).
For SEO-Optimised Blog Articles
- Target keyword(s) — especially if you added the Keyword Targeting add-on.
- Target page each article should support or link to.
- Suggested titles or angles (optional) — or let the team propose them.
- Any existing content to complement or avoid duplicating.
For Sales Pages
- The offer — exactly what you're selling or promoting.
- Price / deal — and any deadline (for a launch or promo).
- Main benefit — the single most important reason to act.
- Call-to-action — what you want visitors to do (buy, sign up, book, contact).
- Proof — testimonials, guarantees, or trust points to include.
- Where the page will live — the destination URL, if known.
For the Dedicated Blog
- Brand name and basic details for setup.
- Niche / main topics for the starter articles.
- Preferred style and any example blogs you like.
- Logo / brand assets if you have them.
Brief quality tips
- Be specific. "Article about coffee machines for small offices, targeting the keyword best office coffee machines, linking to /shop" is far better than "write about coffee."
- One goal per asset. A sales page works best around a single offer; an article works best around a single topic.
- Give examples. Links to pages, competitors, or content you like speed things up.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Decide your goal and pick the matching service (see Which GrowthPages Service Should I Choose?).
- Gather the items from the checklist above for that service.
- Place your order (see How to Place a GrowthPages Order).
- Submit the brief on the order details page / support ticket after checkout.
- Respond promptly to any clarifying questions to keep delivery on track.
